SOLUTION ONE

Find Your Ideal Planner

If you select a good planner, it should come with everything you need to utilize it. If not, you can gather those materials separately. It is best to get a small and durable planner so that you can bring it with you everywhere you go. Pockets on the inside are also useful, as you can use them to store important papers and whatever else you may need. You need to be able to find the pages you need with ease, so a planner with monthly tabs and a bookmark are ideal.
Once you have a planner, find a nice black pen, highlighters, and lined sticky notes. Use these to color code events, mark important reminders, make notes, and create daily or weekly to do lists.

SOLUTION TWO

Fill In Your Planner With Purpose

Before filling out your weeks in detail, go through each month and mark down any important birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, vacations, etc. Once you have done this, then you can add in your weekly schedule. Consider things such as work, school, sports, clubs, meetings, and appointments. Make sure that all of these have a time written down with them. Don’t forget to write down any important due dates for work or school! Those may be something worth highlighting. Finally, finish up by placing a sticky note or two on each page for your weekly to do lists. These can include chores, errands, or anything else you need to remember that does not have a designated time.

SOLUTION THREE

Use Planner To Schedule Time to Breathe

This is key to keeping up with your busy schedule! Buffers between each item on your schedule ensure that you will be able to keep up. It can help you account for travel time, traffic, getting lost, or anything else that may get you caught behind. You should also make sure that you leave time in your day to take care of yourself. You will only be able to maximize your time if you are feeling great!

Remember to eat and relax! When you can, schedule time to meditate or read, or do whatever else makes you happy.

The number one reason for organizing your time in such detail is so that you can have more time for you!
