SOLUTION ONE

Create Microsoft Word templates as print yourself company communication options

This is the most time consuming, but also the cheapest option. Good for printing in low quantities.

If you want people to take you seriously you need to at least have your company logo on letterhead.

There are many tools out there now for people starting off who just need a small amount of branded paper collateral to send communications to clients.

For a basic letterhead template on Micrsoft Word you can pull up every time you need to follow these steps:

company logo header

Go to View on the top menu bar

Click on Header and Footer

Click in the space above Header

company logo in header

On the page menu bar click on Insert

company logo in header

Find the file of your logo and select
Click the Insert button on the bottom of the box

You may need to grab the small square in the corner and make the image smaller. The logo should take up 1/10 of the page

After you are done click on

company logo on letterhead
File
Save As Template

And give it an easy to remember file name such as: Full-Size Paper Letterhead Template and you will have every time you need instead of creating every time you need.

Consider printing on high-quality paper to stand apart and set the tone of professionalism.

There are so many options out there for creating branded office supplies and stationery. You can find:

to get started without a lot of overhead and fairly simple templates to use.

Another option is creating a watermark background. On page menu bar Click on Design, click on Watermark, click the circle for Picture click Select Picture, select file and click Insert

SOLUTION TWO

Use a company with predesigned templates to upload your logo and ship you printed products

This is the middle option for cost and time. Good for printing in bulk.

There are plenty of companies to turn to now that will take the burden of design and printing off your plate. If your print materials require a lot fo color an office printer may not do the trick. If you need to print more than 50 items this can also be a good option. By the time you pay for the ink to print from the office, this can turn into a more cost-effective option as well.

Option 1: Vista Print

Meant for the masses Vista Print is a cut and dry, upload and order option to have your stationery printed and shipped to you. Vista print can handle large orders and turn them around quickly, however they do not have the highest quality printers so anything with a lot of detail or design will not come out as crisp as Option 2. If you have a simple logo with a plain background this is a perfectly good option to choose.

Option 2: Moo.com

Moo.com is known for their high-quality designs and high-quality printing. No matter how large the file size Moo.com printers will return a crisp to the edge print every time. They also offer cool features like a color band, heavy paper stock and business cards with chips in them.

SOLUTION THREE

Hire a graphic designer to create all your paper promotional materials

This is the most expensive option, but the least time-consuming.

You may be intimidated by hiring a graphic designer. Don’t be. If the above two options overwhelm you then your energy is best used on running the company and outsourcing this part of the business.

Don’t know where to start to find someone? Here are some tips for how to find a graphic designer that can do a smaller job like this and let you do what you do best.
